Evaluation of Climate Action Plans

Transportation has been a primary focus to reduce GHGs as it is the second largest source of GHGs in the U.S. The transportation sector is a highly visible source of emissions, and a source which governments have a higher degree of control over compared to residential or commercial emissions.

As such, this paper focuses  primarily on the transportation measures adopted in two climate plans—Los Angeles’ and Chicago’s—to analyze the transportation GHG emissions reductions goals and evaluate the feasibility of implementation.
